Portland Farmhouse & Wild Ale Festival

March 26, 2016 @ 3:00 pm - March 27, 2016 @ 10:00 pm

As spring blossoms and the weather becomes milder, the Portland Farmhouse and Wild Ale Festival falls again to Saraveza, the Bad Habit Room, and side street of N. Michigan for its 4th year. Oregon’s–and perhaps the Pacific Northwest’s–largest beer festival dedicated to farmhouse ales continues to highlight American-made wild and rustic ales that take their inspiration from the beers of olde of France and Belgium. This year the Portland Farmhouse and Wild Ale Festival introduces a new VIP early entrance and an exclusive bottle and draft release called ‘The Croze’ from The Commons Brewery. Tickets are on sale now.

This year’s festival will have the largest selection yet, with over 60 different beers from more than 25 breweries. Outdoor booths will feature Ale Apothecary, Perennial Artisan Ales, The Commons, pFriem Family Brewers, and Agrarian Ales.
Participating Breweries: De Garde, Jester King, Block 15 Brewing, Sante Adairius, The Ale Apothecary, Perennial Artisan Ales, Crooked Stave, The Commons, Upright Brewing, pFriem Family Brewers, The Bruery, Solera Brewery, Logsdon Farmhouse Ales, Propolis, Agrarian Ales, Three Magnets Brewing, Stillwater Artisan Ales, Hair of the Dog, Almanac, Breakside, Culmination, Russian River, Blackberry Farms, Urban Family Brewing, Golden Valley Brewing and more…

The Portland Farmhouse and Wild Ale Festival will be the only place to get ‘The Croze,’ a primarily bottled wild saison brewed exclusively for the festival by The Commons. One keg of The Croze will be pouring at the fest for attendees to sample before purchasing bottles. The Croze is an oaked open-fermented saison brewed with pilsner malt, malted wheat, and German hops, bottled and keg conditioned. The Croze was made using a unique technique of fermenting in open top oak barrels. 5.3% ABV and very limited.

Tickets are on sale now and remain an affordable $25, which includes a collectible glass and 10 drink tickets. Additional tickets are $1 and beers range from 1-4 tickets for a 4oz pour.
New in 2016 is a special VIP session for $35 that allows ticket holders a 3 hour early entry at Noon before regular admission at 3pm.

This year the fest is partnering with Habitat for Humanity Portland; a portion of each entry will be donated to the organization in order to help support all of the great work it does in our community.

Point Blank Distributing also has helped to make this years festival possible with equipment and brewery support.
